"At the designer denim label’s new Meatpacking District outpost, you can select the denim, back pockets, rivets, hardware, and the fit for a pair of custom made jeans to be sewn up at the store in about two hours. Way more upscale than an iron-on t-shirt shop, this denim-on-demand comes with a price tag that could get you more than a few pairs of mass market jeans. . .and people are still buying them. Custom jeans range from $300-$350.
